Slate's Marine Construction is a family owned and operated business. ? We along with many generations of Slate's before us have grown up on the St. Lawrence, specifically the Rockport area, and have taken the love and respect for the 1000 Islands to ensure the beauty of the area continues on for generations to come. We take great pride in it being a family owned and operated business. We also have raised our children and now grandchildren to love and live in the 1000 Islands. We have been in business for many years, with regards to property maintenance of island and waterfront properties. In 2017, we expanded into marine construction. Along side us for this new business venture was our son TJ, who brought many years of expertise from previously working in marine construction. We try to be aware of the wants and needs people may have to enjoy their waterfront properties to their full potential. We not only ensure we hire individuals with a background and skills on this type of work, but also a background and knowledge of the 1000 Islands. Mitch Hodge has worked with us since 2018 and has become a very valued member of our team.
